Alumni Affairs Welcomes New Staff

We are pleased to welcome three new members to the Office of Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving Team. image2Daniel Abraham joins the Office of Alumni Affairs team as our External Relations Associate. Daniel is a 2013 Sy Syms graduate who also spent several years learning in RIETS.  During that time he worked in the Student Life office running Shabbat programming on the Wilf campus and completed the Wurzweiler Certificate in Jewish Philanthropy program, where he gained experience in programming and development.  Daniel’s YU acumen and connections help him tremendously as he manages Class Notes, assists with alumni programming, and communication in the Alumni Affairs department.   jennifer cahnJennifer Cahn joins the YU Institutional Advancement team as the Senior Annual Giving Officer. Jenn recently helped launch the YU Chai initiative and established the Annual Giving Campaign Cabinet. Jenn manages our YU Phonathon program and works with our student philanthropy initiatives. A graduate of Brandeis University, Jenn has a double Masters from the Jewish Theological Seminary in Jewish Education and Sacred Music and previously served as Manager of Philanthropic Initiatives at the Hebrew Charter School Center.   Rachel LRachel Lebwohl joins the Office of Alumni Affairs as our Marketing Associate. Rachel previously worked for the American Jewish Joint Distribution in their development department, and most recently as a marketing coordinator at Perkins Eastman, an architecture and design firm. An NYU grad, she manages the email campaigns, networking platforms and social media for our alumni.
