Recent research conducted by Anatoly Frenkel, professor of physics at Stern College for Women, together with scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Brookhaven National Laboratory and the University of Delaware, was featured in “Catalyst Boosts Ethanol Fuel Cells” on ChemicalProcessing.com. The team discovered a new electrocatalyst that enhances the prospects for ethanol-powered fuel cells. The research is published in Nature Materials Vol. 8, April 2009.
