Grivoyannis Publishes Two Economics Books

Dr. Elias C. Grivoyannis, associate professor of economics at Yeshiva College, recently published two books in the field. He is the editor of The New Chinese Economy: Dynamic Transitions into the Future (Palgrave Macmillan), which provides a comprehensive look at Chinese economics in an increasingly globalized world and highlights the institutional and cultural forces that have shaped the Chinese economy today and will impact it in the future. Grivoyannis also authored a textbook, Forensic Economics: Concepts and Applications (Wiley Publishing), which serves as the base text for “Forensic Economics,” a course he has taught for 12 years at Yeshiva College. The course utilizes quantitative analysis techniques to estimate the economic damages sustained from unlawful actions under both tort and discrimination law.
