Schacter to be Scholar-in-Residence at the Young Israel of Kew Garden Hills

Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Schacter, University Professor of Jewish History and Jewish Thought at Yeshiva University, will be Scholar-in-Residence at the Young Israel of Kew Garden Hills on November 16-17, 2012.  Over the course of the weekend, he will deliver three lectures, titled: “Did Moshe Rabbeinu Know Everything?,” “Printing and the Unfolding of Human Knowledge” and “The Nazi Who Wanted to Convert: Are There Limits to Forgiveness?" In addition to serving as the Senior Scholar at the Center for the Jewish Future at Yeshiva University, Schacter is a member of the faculty of The Wexner Foundation and The Wexner Heritage Foundation.
