An Evening with Yeshiva University

yu-yinr-060815-page-001The Westchester Jewish community will host “An Evening with Yeshiva University,” on Monday, June 8, at  8 p.m., at the Young Israel of New Rochelle, 1149 North Avenue, New Rochelle, New York 10804. Rabbi Dr. Meir Y. Soloveichik, director of the Zahava and Moshael Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought, will present a talk entitled, “Serving God and Man in the Twilight Zone: A Religious Reflection on Bein Hashemashot.” YU President Richard M. Joel will discuss “Yeshiva University, Today and Tomorrow.” “In many ways, we are the home university to the Westchester community,” said President Joel. “It is critical that we share our collective stories together to build a proud future.” A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
