Ladin Publishes Poetry and Essays

Ladin-1Dr. Joy Ladin, David and Ruth Gottesman Professor of English and director of the Writing Center at Yeshiva University's Stern College for Women, recently published a number of poems and essays. Her recent publications include poems in A-Minor Magazine,  Mass Poetry Poem of the Moment, Kore Press Poem of the Week, The Good Men Project, Vetch, Poetry Daily: Featured Poem, The Southern Review, Cream City Review, The Good Men Project, Golden Walkman, Storyscape Journal, and Extract(s), and essays in The Huffington Post, Psychology Tomorrow and Tikkun. In addition, one of Ladin's poems have been nominated for a "Best of the Web" award in the Poetry category. Her recent speaking engagements include three presentations at Reed College; participation on a panel at The Changing Face of the American Jewish Family colloquium at the Jewish Theological Seminary; and invited talks at New York University's Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life, the Hadassah Brandeis Institute Internship Program, the Collegiate Leadership Internship Program, and the Grammars of Difference and Coherence: Jewish Studies Through the Lens of Gender Studies conference at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
