shalomholtzDr. Shalom Holtz, associate professor of Bible and chair of the Robert M. Beren Department of Jewish Studies at Yeshiva College, recently delivered two lectures. The first, "Seeing God as Refuge in the Psalms," was an illustrated talk at the Jewish Community Center in Greenwich, Connecticut, in which Holtz explored the connection between God and the Temple as a refuge through the text of Psalms and Middle Eastern artifacts.
