Incoming Honors Students Travel on the Path

Led by Rabbi Jordan Rosenberg, a dozen incoming Honors Students spent three days hiking the Appalachian Trail during a special pre-orientation trip, bonding as a group as they prepared to set off on their college careers. The trip concluded with a Shabbaton in Riverdale, spending shabbat in the company of professors and faculty. Rabbi Rosenberg, trained in outdoor skills, wilderness first aid, and group dynamics, has led similar programs for the Honors Program in the past, opening the Honors Program careers of these students with great learning and bonding experiences. We'll be publishing a few first-hand accounts of the trip here shortly, but, for now, enjoy this gallery of pictures.
