Persecution, Polemic, and Dialogue : Essays in Jewish-Christian Relations, by David Berger. Academic Studies Press, 2010. Persecution, Polemic, and Dialogue collects many of Professor David Berger's important studies on the subject of Jewish-Christian relations in the medieval and modern periods. The essays range in subject from medieval blood libels and disputations to modern and contemporary interfaith dialogue. They showcase Dr. Berger’s mastery of the source material, his analytic ability, and his sensitivity to the issues. As Professor Jeremy Cohen noted on the dust-jacket, they combine "keen critical scholarship on the one hand, and a resolute commitment to Jewish tradition on the other". It is both highly useful and convenient to now have access to all of these essays in one volume. Posted by Zvi Erenyi
