MTA and Syms Business Students Kick Off Mentoring Over Lunch

On Wednesday, MTA LEAD students who submitted business ideas were paired up with students from YU's Sy Syms School of Business who will be mentoring them over the course of the semester, helping them develop their ideas in advance of the MTA students' "Shark Tank" presentation later in the year in front of the program's Executive Council of business leaders. In order to facilitate this initial meeting, mentors and students, as well as Michael Strauss, Associate Dean, Assistant to the YU Provost, and Entrepreneur in Residence of the Business School, got together in the MTA lunchroom for a pizza luncheon. Students and mentors exchanged ideas and are looking forward to regularly staying in touch over the course of the semester.
