Makor Chaim Welcome Breakfast

f287dd63-d574-4954-a230-d905133b7903 On Wednesday, MTA welcomed four boys from Yeshivat Makor Chaim in Eretz Yisrael with a lavish breakfast for the whole Junior class. The breakfast included Dunkin Donuts, hashbrowns, and much more! The program began with a D'var Torah from the Menahel of Makor Chaim, Rabbi David Rabinovich, followed by a warm greeting from Rabbi Taubes. After this, the Makor Chaim boys brought out their guitars and taught a new song, along with Rabbi Mendelson, to the Juniors. To conclude, Seth Jacobs ('17) gave a D'var Torah and spoke about how everyone in MTA can gain from the four boys being here with us, as well as how they themselves can gain from being in MTA. The Makor Chaim students are here for five weeks and have already started off with a bang. On Thursday, they brought out their guitars once again and led a Thursday afternoon Kumzits, or what they call "Likrat Shabbat" in their yeshiva, which helps everybody prepare for Shabbos. We are looking forward to the Makor Chaim boys enhancing the already amazing spirit in MTA over the next few weeks.
