dce8851e-e2f2-422f-9da9-4cca78816a0d This past Wednesday night, the MTA Varsity Hockey Lions played the TABC Storm in the Lions' Den. The game was of crucial importance to the Lions' playoff hopes, and the Lions came out in the first period with much intensity. However, TABC was able to match the Lion's efforts and scored first period goals. Although the Lions fought hard to get back into the game, they could not overcome the early deficit and ended up with a loss. As the last originally scheduled home game of the season, this game also served as "Senior Night," and the senior members of the team were recognized in a pre-game ceremony where they took a special picture with their coach; after the game, the graduating Seniors took pictures with their parents as well. The Lions will look to regroup from the tough loss and resume their winning ways when they again play TABC on Saturday night in what should be a very exciting matchup. Fans are highly encouraged to attend the game, as the game will be of even greater importance to the Lions' hopes of making the playoffs. Free t-shirts will be given out, and a great game will undoubtedly ensue. To see more pictures please click here.
