Last Friday, students who are part of the sports management club and the MTA LEAD business program had the opportunity to hear from New York Mets Vice President of Scouting, Tommy Tanuous. Mr. Tanuous spoke at YU as part of the Doris and Dr. Ira Kukin Entrepreneurial and Executive Lecture Series.

Mr. Tanuous both fascinated and inspired the crowd as he went through his own career and lessons he learned along the way from mistakes he made. He talked about pursuing your passion, being relentless but not selfish, and genuinely caring about your employees and relationships. The students very much appreciated his fascinating stories and insights and look forward to more lectures over the course of the semester.
