MTA Blood Drive Draws More Than 100 Participants

By: Elie Burg (‘18) MTA hosted its first blood drive of the school year this past Tuesday.  Coordinated by the Arista National Honors Society, the blood drive was held throughout the entire day in The MTA library.  Dozens of students showed up to do a simple good deed that literally saves lives. Additionally, rebbeim, faculty members, and YU students (many of whom are MTA alumni) showed up to participate in this extraordinary chessed program as well.  Everyone who donated was treated to Dunkin Donuts and other snacks after completing the blood donation.  By the end of the day, a whopping total of 66 pints of blood were collected from more than 100 donors - the highest number of pints MTA has ever collected at a  fall blood drive!  Thank you so much  to all those who donated!
