Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman, chief judge of the State of New York and chief judge of the court of appeals, was the keynote speaker on a day that included a salute to the Innocence Project, which celebrated its 20th anniversary with co-founders Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld, who received the first Cardozo Justice Award from Cardozo Law Dean Matthew Diller.
