2016 Employee Appreciation Day

Staff Celebrate Employee Appreciation Event With Food, Music and Activities On Tuesday, June 21, the Human Resources Department presented Employee Appreciation Day on Yeshiva University’s Wilf Campus. Hundreds of staff gathered in Weissberg Commons and Tenzer Gardens to take part in the annual event that recognizes YU employees for all of their contributions. The day's theme was "Oldies, But Goodies" and included opening remarks from President Richard M. Joel, as well as several activities, including an Office Olympics and quiz show competition. “This was a great event and demonstrates how much the University values and appreciates the continued support of its employees,” said Barbara Nielsen, talent management partner and the event organizer. “A special thanks to the Employee Appreciation Day Committee for a wonderful event that was enjoyed by all.” Appreciation Day for employees on the Israel Henry Beren Campus took place on Thursday, June 16, in the 36th Street Residence Hall. Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law will host Appreciate Day on its Brookdale Campus on July 20.
