Event Offers More Than 40 Shiurim, Programming for All Ages and Uplifting Torah Insight From Roshei Yeshiva May 30 - June 1

Yeshiva University-affiliated Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) will offer an unparalleled opportunity for participants to spend the Shavuos holiday immersed in high-level Torah learning and thought at its seventh annual Shavous Yarchei Kallah. Led by its world-class roshei yeshiva and rebbeim, the event will take place at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook, New York, from Tuesday, May 30, to Thursday, June 1.

“The RIETS Shavuos program is the most exciting and inspiring learning opportunity I have ever experienced,” said Rabbi Menachem Penner, the Max and Marion Grill Dean of RIETS. “With more than 40 shiurim, the huge faculty and variety of topics discussed combine to create a feast for the mind and soul. The beautiful ruach and sense of community complete the Yom Tov.”

In addition to Dean Penner, the yarchei kallah will feature intriguing sessions by world-renowned Torah authorities and personalities such as Rabbi Hershel Schachter, Nathan and Vivian Fink Distinguished Professorial Chair in Talmud; Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Schachter, University Professor of Jewish History and Jewish Thought and senior scholar at YU’s Center for the Jewish Future; C.B. Neugroschl, head of school at the Samuel H. Wang Yeshiva University High School for Girls; and Dr. Rona Novick, dean of the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration. YU President Richard M. Joel will also lead shiurim, as well as Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander, vice president of university and community life, and Rabbi Dr. Joshua Joseph, senior vice president, among many other speakers.

To accommodate families with children of all ages, the program features babysitting and day camp options and an exceptional program for teenagers. In addition, a special program in conjunction with YUConnects, the University’s matchmaking service, will be offered. For more information or to register, visit regonline.com/shavuos.
