Riverdale Resident Nathan Kahn Elected to Albert Einstein College of Medicine Board of Overseers

Jan 11, 2007 -- Nathan Kahn, founder and CEO of Empire Resources Inc., in Fort Lee, N.J., has been elected to the Board of Overseers for Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Empire Resources is a public company with offices in North America, Europe and Australia. The Company distributes and manufactures aluminum products for sale to a wide array of industries for use in consumer products, automobiles, packaging, and housing materials. Mr. Kahn has long been deeply involved in educational institutions and currently serves on the boards of SAR Academy in Riverdale and The RAMAZ School in Manhattan. He has also been a board member of American Friends of Shalva, an organization that provides respite care and therapy to developmentally disabled children in Israel. Mr. Kahn received his bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva College in 1976, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1980. He and his wife, Sandy, live in Riverdale, N.Y., and have three children. Albert Einstein College of Medicine is one of the nation’s premier institutions for medical education, basic research and clinical investigation.
