The New YU News

Yeshiva University Launches Redesigned News Site Yeshiva University recently launched a redesigned news site that makes an array of exciting news stories and updates from schools across the University available in one place. Featuring a crisp new look and simple, engaging user interface, the YU News site was designed to bring readers up-to-speed on important news from all of the University’s schools and programs, including its graduate schools, with a single glance. At the top of the page, a rotation of six featured articles offer an in-depth look into the latest University happenings, with “Faculty News” and “Athletics” highlighted beneath. Below the fold, a “Most Recent News” list displays up-to-date headlines from areas across the University. The result is a varied mix that can include everything from faculty research and student profiles to news from the graduate schools and press releases, as well as blog posts from the YU Libraries or Alumni Office, giving viewers a more nuanced and holistic picture of Yeshiva University than ever before. The new site was created by Edwin Malave, web developer in YU’s Office of Communications and Public Affairs. “From faculty and student research to a vibrant campus life and athletics, there are so many exciting things happening throughout the University. The new site allows us to share it all in one easy-to-navigate location that will provide readers with more options and an improved user experience,” said Matt Yaniv, director of marketing and communications at YU.
