From the Wall Street Journal, May 8, 2012 When Froma Benerofe went back to college later in life to become a social worker, she did so with the same motivation of a person decades younger: She wanted to help people heal. That motivation, drawn in part from the Jewish concept of tikkun olam, or to repair the world, is something that Ms. Benerofe sees in most every social worker she meets.
