Steinhauer_66017A-24-1Dr. Josefa Steinhauer, assistant professor of biology at YU’s Yeshiva College, recently published a scholarly paper in The Journal of Cell Science. Titled, “Trafficking of the EGFR ligand Spitz regulates its signaling activity in polarized tissues,” the article discusses Steinhauer’s research on the subcellular localization of proteins that allow cells to communicate with each other. One of Steinhauer’s coauthors on the article, Eli Miller, is a recent YC graduate.
