Dr. Joanne Jacobson, professor and co-chair of the English department at Yeshiva University, will deliver a lecture at Oklahoma State University on Thursday, April 2, from 4-5 p.m. in Morrill Hall, Room 303. Titled "Double Vision: The Imaginary of the American Suburb," the talk will explore the ways in which the suburbs have provided an imaginative stage to expose hidden identities and conflicts in the American psyche through the lens of American writing and television. The lecture is sponsored by OSU's American studies and English departments.
