Miller to Give Talk on Whitman at Brooklyn Public Library

MillerMatt64174F-85-1Dr. Matthew Miller, associate professor of English at Yeshiva University, is giving a talk on Thursday, April 9th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Park Slope Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, 431 6th Ave. at 9th St in Brooklyn, New York. The talk, entitled "Walt Whitman's Writing Process: The Poet at Work in Brooklyn," will explore the writing process of the grandfather of American poetry, Walt Whitman. Based on his recent book, Collage of Myself: Walt Whitman and the Making of Leaves of Grass, Miller will use digital images of Whitman's manuscripts to reveal some startling discoveries he has made during his research. He will also share new discoveries in Whitman scholarship.
