Marissa A. Barrera, assistant professor of speech-language pathology at the the Katz School for Graduate and Professional Studies, presented at the International Multiple Sclerosis Cognitive Society conference on how physical fatigue affects word recognition and recall.

At the conference, Barrera was interviewed by Dr. Daniel Kantor for MSWorld. During the interview, Barerra spoke about cognitive deficits in people with multiple sclerosis and using screening assessments to improve awareness of the extent of their cognitive capabilities.
