Dr. Maria Zaitseva, adjunct instructor in political science, was featured in a brief interview with i24 news (an English-language Israeli channel) on February 15  about American-Russian relations.

Her general predictions were that there while there would be a “reset” in the relationship, Russian would try to set the tone of the relationship on its own terms.  In addition, she suggested that there would be no major change on either side on major issues (such as Syria, Crimea, NATO and the current sanctions) as Russia continues to “feel out” the new administration and devise a strategy of how to proceed.
