Gina Grimaldi, an adjunct instructor in Renaissance drama and composition since 2011 in the department of English at Stern College for Women, was recently named coordinator of the Beren Writing Center, where she will mentor the student tutors and supervise the Center’s daily operations. She was also awarded a lectureship.

During her time at Stern College, she has taught many composition and expository writing classes as well as thematic and period-based literature classes, such as Arthurian Legends or 17th-century British Literature.

As part of her lectureship, she will be teaching two courses each fall and three courses each spring, a mixture of Composition and Literature classes.

“I am thrilled - I love the students and English department," said Grimaldi. "I've always encouraged my classes to take advantage of the services of the Writing Center, so it's exciting to now be a part of its great work.”
