Dr. Silke Aisenbrey, professor of sociology and chair of the department, was named Deputy Editor of Gender & Society, the official journal of Sociologists for Women in Society. Gender & Society, according to its website, publishes articles that “analyze gender and gendered processes in interactions, organizations, societies, and global and transnational spaces.”
