This past Saturday night (3/1), at 8 PM, the Honors Program went to a performance at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The evening’s performance featured an All-Star quartet representing three generations, including 2012 NEA Jazz Master Jack DeJohnette on drums, serial poll-winner Joe Lovano on tenor saxophone, 2011 “Best New Artist” GRAMMY® Award winner Esperanza Spalding on bass, and Argentinean pianist Leo Genovese. 2014 GRAMMY® Award nominee Cécile McLorin Salvant opened the show, and was a real crowd favorite. We have multiple cultural events going on each semester, stay tuned for our next show or concert coming up!
