The Observer

Founded by the women of Yeshiva University’s Stern College in 1958, The Yeshiva University Observer is one of two co-educational, student-run publications of Yeshiva University. Writers on the Observer staff are undergraduates at Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women, Yeshiva College, and Sy Syms School of Business and offer a variety of backgrounds and interests. The Observer is published on a monthly basis throughout the academic year and has expanded to include several sections, including news, features, opinions, science and technology, business, and arts and culture. Views expressed in the Observer are those of the writers and do not necessarily reflect those of the editorial board or the student body, faculty, and administration of Yeshiva University. When students were unable to be on campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the newspaper was committed to increasing its accessibility to the student body through the development of a strong social media presence on Facebook and Instagram.

A collection of the Observer's past issues can be found on YAIR, the Yeshiva Academic Institutional Repository, with the May 2021 issue being found here.
