The Class of 2016 traveled to the Rockaways, Oceanside, and Freeport on Wednesday to help with the cleanup needed in the aftermath of Hurriance Sandy. MTA has been sending relief missions at least once a week since the storm; students are able to learn first hand the value of chessed and how important it is to help out those less fortunate. In one home, the boys signed a tile with well wishes for the homeowner to have, as she moves forward with her recovery.
Those interested in helping out on their own can visit Nechama’s volunteer page.
