Junior Trip Another Incredible Experience

by Ori Putterman ('14)
On Wednesday and Thursday, MTA took the Junior class for their annual grade trip. The trip started with a visit to a bowling alley, where Rabbi Green proceeded to prove just how much better of a bowler he is than anybody else; while Akiva Pudell bowled a Turkey in the middle of a five strike in a row stretch. Following this, we traveled to a sports multiplex where we were served some delicious pizza. At the multiplex, we had the opportunity to play sports such as laser tag and whirly ball (a combination of basketball and lacrosse, in bumper cars) as well as more standard options such as baseball and football. Congratulations to Ezra Teichman, who totally dominated the whirly ball circuit, leading all scorers with an average of three goals per game. Then, we headed to a local snowtubing course where everyone tried to topple down the hill in the most imaginative ways possible. After davening and learning in a local yeshiva, we ended up the night heading to a resort where we enjoyed a late night swim, barbecue, and either a kumsitz with Rabbi Mendelson or a meditation session with Benny Rofeh, a member of our guidance staff. The next morning after davening, we spent some time at the resort's fantastic indoor water park, followed by a trip to an ice rink to play an amazing new sport called broom ball. All in all, it was a great trip, and the entire grade very much enjoyed the bonding experience. Thank you to Rabbi Green for coordinating another incredible experience.
