Rabbi Kerner's Shiur Spends Shabbos in Monsey

by Moshe Bochner ('13) This past weekend, Rabbi Kerner's 12th grade shiur had a marvelous shabbaton in rural Monsey. The shabbaton kicked off on Friday with a parsha shiur at Rabbi Kerner's shul, Kehillat New Hempstead. Then, the shiur played an intense game of tackle football in Orchard Hill Park. On Friday night, Rabbi Bechhofer spoke to the shiur at the Friday Night Oneg after an inspirational Kabbalat Shabbat by Devir Kahan. On Shabbos day, the boys was treated to a scrumptious meal by Rebbetzin Kerner and immersed themselves in Chumash and Gemara. After Shabbos, the shiur went bowling, where they saw Jesse Tawil on top of his game.
A great time was had by all. Many thanks to Rabbi and Rebbetzin Kerner for a wonderful Shabbos!
