bankOn Tuesday, Mr. Dobrick and his economics class took a trip to the Israel Discount Bank in midtown Manhattan. The group was given the opportunity to walk onto the bank’s trading floor, allowing them the opportunity to see the trading first hand.  The bank officer who showed us around discussed with us how the bank conducted business as a private bank, what the bank did for its clients, and, more generally, how to watch the market and its future; he also gave us some advice for when we get jobs. The trip concluded with lunch at Milk and Honey. Special thanks to Mr. Roger Guigui, father of Asher (’14), for hosting us.
