On Wednesday, the Junior class shiurim enjoyed a day to celebrate the end of the year. Rabbi Mendelson’s shiur headed out to play an intense game of softball, where Shlomo Mirsky impressed with his pitching and hitting skills, while the other shiurim headed out to Newark, NJ to watch the Newark Bears take on the Trois-Rivieres Aigles. Rabbi Danto got the game underway, throwing out the first pitch.

With the small fan turnout for a mid-week afternoon game, the MTA students were able to participate in a number of the on-field activities that took place between innings. Sadly, the Bears fell 5-0, but the students greatly enjoyed the bonding opportunity.
