10th Graders Bring The Canterbury Tales To Life

by Avi Rothwachs ('16)
On Monday and Tuesday, Mrs. Levitt's 10th grade class  had two very special days. We had just finished studying the Prologue to the Canterbury Tales; each student had to memorize the lines of a character from the Prologue and bring in a costume. We had some very interesting characters that required very creative costumes. Although some of these characters had 40 lines or more, some students were able to memorize every single word to perfection. This assignment required a lot of effort but was also extremely fun. We also got to see how creative some of our classmates are and got a laugh in at the same time. This was a great experience that was challenging but also lots of fun. Thanks Mrs. Levitt!
