This past Monday, it was Rosh Chodesh and the Freshmen class had the privilege of a receiving a special breakfast in honor of the new month of Shevat. The purpose of the breakfast was to bond with our rebbeim and friends in preparation for our first high school finals. For breakfast, we had doughnuts, hash browns, waffles and pancakes. To end off the breakfast, Rabbi Kessel shared a few words of wisdom and encouragement for the upcoming week of exams. The other grades, which all received Dunkin Donuts, are looking toward to their Rosh Chodesh breakfast next semester.

A very special thank you to Dr. Jonathan (’91) and Jessica Landa, parents of Daniel (’19) and Ephraim (’19) for sponsoring the breakfast in honor of the freshmen rebbeim. To sponsor an upcoming Rosh Chodesh breakfast, please contact Ms. Elissa Schertz at elissa.schertz@yu.edu.
