This past Tuesday, the MTA soccer team played their fourth match of the season at Flatbush and earned their third win. The Lions got off to a great start, scoring 4 goals in the first quarter without giving up any. Over the next two quarters, each team scored 2 goals per quarter, leading the game into its final frame with a score of 8-4 in favor of the Lions. However, it wouldn’t be long before the Lions scored three more goals and defeated their rivals, Flatbush, by the mercy rule. The final score of the game was 11-4. The Lions were led by David Pando (’16) with three goals and Benjy Bral (’18) with two.
