This past Tuesday, the incoming freshmen, making up the MTA Class of 2020, had their first real taste of high school at their Freshmen Orientation. The day started with davening and welcoming remarks from various administrators in the Library, including Grade Dean Rabbi Eli Cohn, and proceeded through a normal daily schedule at MTA, albeit with shorter periods, in order to help acclimate the freshmen to the new environment. The students were later given different colored lollypops and then divided into four groups based on the color lollypop they received; each group was then presented with a lightning round of sessions, including: "Living Like A Lion" and "Your Day at MTA." After a pizza lunch, afternoon classes, and further introductions, the boys gathered in the Library at 4:00 to daven mincha, and were subsequently dismissed to their buses. We look forward to seeing great things from this latest class of MTA Lions!
