Lionotics Grab Fourth Place in Robotics Competition

by Elishama Marmon ('20) On Tuesday, the MTA robotics team, Lionotics, competed in the first annual Yeshiva League Robotics Competition at the Yeshiva of Flatbush. Their robot was designed to push beacons, shoot hoops, and lift an exercise ball into a hoop several feet of the ground. The robots worked as designed and all successfully completed their assigned tasks. The MTA robotics software and hardware teams worked hard, and achieved fourth place! It was an amazing experience for all the participants, and the students looks to continue improve their robot for the next competition.
