Last Friday, the MTA Outdoors Club went hiking in the Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah, NJ. The boys hiked a three and a half hour trail including hard climbs and beautiful scenery. This route is unique because it also passes by the only naturally growing cacti in this area of the country. They built a small fire at the top of the mountain and roasted the hot dogs that Mr. Sragow had brought along. They then hiked back down and returned home for Shabbos. Thank you to Mr. Sragow for leading this amazing hike.
