MTA Celebrates Israel at the Celebrate Israel Parade

34990661751_0ab49c680e_o by Elisha Marmon ('20) On Sunday morning, MTA participated in the annual Celebrate Israel Parade in honor of the Jewish homeland, joining with many other schools from the New York area. As part of the Yeshiva University contingent, the students and faculty marched down Fifth Avenue from 57th Street to 74th Street. The weather was good and the talmidim were in good spirits as they sang their way through the parade. They waved Israel flags and sported Yeshiva University's parade shirts. They also gave out shirts and Israeli flags to Israel supporters watching the parade, and cheered with them for Israel. It was an uplifting and moving experience for all the talmidim and we thank the administrators who helped us be able to go to the parade and the people who organized the parade.
