On Tuesday, December 11th, the MTA Lions Torah Bowl team competed in their second match of the season at JEC, where they played against TABC, JEC, and Heichal Hatorah.  The afternoon began with all teams davening mincha together as a group, followed by a series of 4 games. MTA won their first game against TABC 35-6. In a tough battle against JEC in the second game, MTA came up just short.  In the third game, MTA won against Heichal Hatorah, 34-3. In the fourth and final game against TABC, MTA came away with another win, 22-10. Torah Bowl Coach Rabbi Pearl treated the team to Dunkin Donuts to celebrate. Thanks to Rabbi Pearl and Team Captain Rachamim Seltzer (‘20) for all their hard work and kudos to Eli Canter (‘22) for scoring the most points, with a total of 61 points at the end of the day.
