On Thursday, March 7th, our Mock Trial team headed to the federal courthouse in Brooklyn for their second match of the year.  This time, the team represented the petitioner, Harley Davison, and attempted to prove that the decision of the Department of Housing, Preservation and Development (DHPD), which denied Harley succession rights to his aunt Barbra’s apartment, was arbitrary and capricious.  Going up against Regis High School, 2017 tournament runner up, our team arrived well-prepared and built a strong case against a tough opponent.  Although they lost by 1 point, the team is proud of their efforts and looks forward to their next match.
