Kronos users may encounter Java issue accessing the system due to recent Internet Explorer update by Microsoft.

A warning message would indicate “Java(TM) was blocked because it is out of date and needs to be updated”.

To work around this, please do the following:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Click Tools >  Internet options > Security > Trusted sites > Sites
  • Add https://kronos.yu.edu
  • Click Add > Close > OK

Reload Kronos webpage and try to log in again.
