2017 Staff Appreciation Picnic

Employees Celebrate Annual Staff Appreciation Event with Food, Music, Games and Prizes On Thursday, June 15, Yeshiva University's Human Resources Department presented its Staff Appreciation Day Picnic on the Wilf Campus. Hundreds of staff gathered in Weissberg Commons and Tenzer Gardens to take part in the annual event that recognizes employees for all of their contributions. Staff were encouraged to wear their Mets and Yankees gear to the Subway Series-themed event, which featured a variety of games and giveaways, as well as remarks from President Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman. Prior to the event, Rabbi Berman hosted his first Community Forum with employees in Belfer Hall. "This is an exciting event that we do once a year on all three of our campuses to show our appreciation for the work that everyone does," said Julie Auster, chief human resources officer. "It gets everyone together, it gets people across departments talking, and we can all have a little bit of fun and relax at the end of the semester." Appreciation Day for employees on the Israel Henry Beren Campus took place on June 7. Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law will host Appreciate Day on its Brookdale Campus on July 20, 2017.
