Dr. Edward Belbruno on Producing Art in a Time of Isolation

Dr. Edward BelbrunoDr. Belbruno is clinical professor of mathematics at Yeshiva College and a winner of the Humboldt Research Award whose scientific and personal interests literally span studying the Big Bang singularity to being a professional painter with regular exhibitions in the United States and Europe. (The documentary Painting the Way to the Moon tells Dr. Belbruno’s story of working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab by day and making space-inspired paintings by night.) On Thursday, May 28, at 2 p.m., Dr. Belbruno will conduct his Art in Isolation Studio Tour as he showcases work inspired by the coronavirus isolation.
