Job-seeking Students Find Plenty of Opportunities at Career Center Fair

The Career Center was pleased to host the Fall 2019 Finance, Fintech & Accounting Fair on September 4, 2019, on the Wilf Campus. The Fair featured 20 employers, nearly 150 students and plenty of  networking focused on full-time job and internship opportunities. Among the organizations represented were Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, the Blackstone Group, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Broadridge Financial Solutions and HSBC. In addition to the presence of company recruiters, approximately 30 YU alumni were on hand meeting with and advising students on their job searches. This fair marked the second finance-related event of the 2020 recruiting cycle. Prior to this, several firms visited the Beren campus in late spring for the Finance Meet & Greet to accommodate their accelerated recruiting timelines. Overall, the Fall 2019 Finance, Fintech & Accounting Fair was well attended, and the energy in the room was palpable. The Career Center anticipates that many of the students who attended will receive invitations for formal interviews. “We had amazing representation from the firms, alumni and students, and it was great to see the interactions happening and hear the conversations throughout the room,” said Todd Lotcpeich, the Career Center’s Director of Employer & Alumni Relations. “The Career Center looks forward to producing more events like this in which students have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with alumni and recruiters.” FinTech Job Fair 2019 - Crowd in the room
