The Maccabees currently have the second longest winning streak in Division III men’s basketball history at 44 games, dating back to 2019. Leading the way for the Maccabees has been senior Ryan Turell, who is averaging 28.6 points per game and is shooting 60.8% from the field so far this season. The two-time D3hoops.com First Team All-American set the school’s single-game scoring record with 51 points during Yeshiva’s latest win over Manhattanville College on Sunday. The reigning CoSIDA Academic All-America Team Member of the Year, Gabriel Leifer, is scoring 9.4 points per game, grabbing 11.0 rebounds per contest, and is averaging 6.6 assists per game. The defending Skyline Rookie of the Year, Ofek Reef, is netting 15.9 points per game, while All-Met Team honoree Eitan Halpert is scoring 12.3 points per game. The nationally ranked No. 1 Yeshiva University Maccabees will take on Farmingdale State College, at the Nold Hall Athletic Complex, on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is at 8 p.m. For more information, visit the Maccabees’ website.
