Precious Donations with a Positive Impact: MTA Blood Drive

On  Nov. 12, 2019, the Arista Honors Society of the Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy/Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) hosted a school-wide blood drive, the first of the year for the high school. Organized by MTA seniors and society members, Ezra Nissel and Eli Fisher, the successful initiative marshaled talmidim [students], rebbeim [teachers] and faculty, along with members of the local community, to aid patients in need.

At the end of the day-long effort, 67 life-saving pints were donated. MTA thanks the school’s Arista Honors Society and the New York Blood Center for their generous efforts.
