YUHSB Hockey Team Raises Money for Children with Life-Threatening Diseases, Takes Part in Miami Marathon

Sixteen members of the Yeshiva University High School for Boys Varsity Hockey team, along with their head coach, Dovie Quint, took part in the ING Miami Half Marathon on January 29. Running for Team Lifeline, the MTA Lions raised more than $33,000 for Chai Lifeline, an organization that assists children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses. “Running the Miami Marathon with Team Lifeline was an amazing experience," said Quint. "The opportunity to raise money for Chai Lifeline, an outstanding organization and finish the half-marathon as a team is something none of our players will ever forget.”
